2. Data we collect

We collect limited data: server logs when you visit our website, your email address if you join our waitlist (via double opt-in), and your language preference stored locally in your browser.

3. How we use your data

Website hosting and content delivery via Cloudflare and Google Cloud Platform. Email delivery via Resend. Database storage via Supabase (EU region). Analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless) and optionally Google Analytics 4 (requires your consent).

4. The Cleanminded app

Account. To use the app you create an account. We store your email address, your name if you sign in with Apple or Google, your settings and consents, your rooms, tasks and scan results. Data is stored with Supabase (EU region).

Room photos and AI. Only after you allow it in the app, the room photo you take or choose (and an optional note) is sent to Google, which analyses it with its Gemini AI model on our behalf (processor: Google Ireland Limited). The only purpose is to score the room and suggest cleaning tasks. The analysis result is stored in your account; the photo itself is only stored if you separately opt in to photo storage. You can withdraw the AI consent anytime in Settings → Privacy.

Product analytics (PostHog). Only with your explicit opt-in (16+), the app sends usage events, technical device/app information and a pseudonymous user ID to PostHog Inc. to improve the app. Before opting in, PostHog is not started. You can withdraw in Settings → Privacy.

Purchases. Subscriptions are sold and paid through the Apple App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). We do not receive your payment details; we receive a purchase confirmation (product, transaction ID, status and period) to activate your plan.

Push notifications. If you allow notifications, a device push token is stored and notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google).

5. Your rights

You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability under GDPR. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
