Delete your Cleanminded account

In the app

Open Cleanminded and sign in.
Go to Settings → Privacy.
Tap “Delete account” and confirm.

Your account is locked immediately and scheduled for deletion. If you sign in again within 14 days, the deletion is cancelled. After that the account is deleted permanently.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address of your account with the subject “Delete account”. We confirm receipt and delete the account within one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR).

What is deleted

Your account and profile (email address, name, settings and consents)
Rooms, places, tasks and your task history
Scan results, AI analyses and stored room photos
Streaks, reminders and device push tokens
Your newsletter subscription; a Sign in with Apple link is revoked with Apple

What is kept

A hashed device value with no link to your account, so the welcome bonus cannot be claimed again by deleting and re-registering.
A pseudonymised record of parental consent, if one was obtained, for as long as we need it to defend legal claims.
Purchase records, where statutory retention duties (e.g. tax law) apply.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in the App Store (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or on Google Play (Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
